IN-HOUSE (ON-PREMISE) PARTIES OF 15 – 300 PEOPLE San Chez Bistro can accommodate private parties of up to 200 people. The upper level at San Chez Bistro can accommodate 110 people, and the upper gallery to the left of our grand staircase accommodates 75 people.
San Chez Café can accommodate up to 100 people.
Corporate events, holiday parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, business lunches, open houses, and more. Private room charges vary depending on the day and time of your event. Please call for pricing.
In-House and On-Premise Payment Policies
A count is due one week before your event date.
All food and non-alcoholic beverage are billed to one tab. Alcohol can be pre-selected and added to the food bill with an "open bar", or on a cash bar basis for a $20 service charge. Tax and gratuity will be added to the food tab. Per Michigan law, please ensure all guests have proper identification to consume alcoholic beverages.
A credit card is needed to secure the event. Changes or cancellations can be made with at least two weeks notice prior to the event. Changes or cancellation within two weeks of the event, however, will result in a charge equal to the total of the final confirmed proposal amount (or more if the changes or additions are, or have been made to the original proposal).

The Third Floor:
The facility rental includes use of the third floor until midnight
on weekends and 10pm on weekdays.
We provide tables, chairs and cocktail tables. White table linens, linen napkins, china and flatware are also included in the rental cost.

Tables in our smoke
free environment are reserved 30 days in advance for your party at a
specific time and date. We will hold your party’s tables for 30
minutes from the specified time, we reserve the right to give your
tables away if necessary. We will, however, make every effort to
accommodate your group after that time, but seating cannot be
guaranteed after 30 minutes.
